EZ Rider Ride Saturday 9/25 - 9 AM

This Saturday we have an IC3 EZ Ride. That's a ride on a paved trail with as little elevation gain as possible. The ride this coming weekend will be on the Platte River trail. We will be meeting at Aspen Grove Shopping Mall in the southeast corner of the parking lot at 9AM Saturday morning and riding the Platte River trail North for an hour and then riding back. This is a great ride for novice riders and families with children who are just beginning to ride.

You can turn around at any point and return to the starting point.

We will stop at the REI store along the Platte for a break and a Starbucks refreshment for anyone interested and then return to Aspen Grove. The ride including break time should take about 3 hours. When we return to Aspen Grove we can have lunch at one of the restaurants there.

The address for Aspen Grove is 7301 S Santa Fe. About a mile north of C470 and Santa Fe on the west side of Santa Fe.

Hope to see you there

8/29 - Lair O'Bear 9am MTB Ride - All Levels

This is a great ride for all levels - for the beginners, you can ride up the Bear Creek Trail as an up and back, with a nice downhill back to the parking lot. Intermediates will climb the Bear Creek Trail a little further, perhaps to Pence Park, while the experts can ride the 5 Parks Loop, by climbing up to Pence Park, then onto Mt. Falcon, descending thru Morrison and back on a 25 mile epic loop.

Getting There
Find the park approximately four miles west of Morrison along Colorado Highway 74. The parking area is located on the south side of the highway.

EZ Riders Saturday Aug 22 9AM - Highline Canal

IC3 is continuing our EZ rides.. A ride that is way less strenuous than the typical front range single track. These rides will aim to have as little elevation gain as possible. I hope we will find a niche for those looking for that type of ride. The ride this weekend will be on the Highline Canal starting at the SW corner parking lot of the First Church of the Nazarene at Hampden and Colorado Blvd. Please arrive by 9AM with helmets, water and sunscreen. We will do an out and back ride. Time and length of the ride will depend on how fast and how long you want to ride, approximately 2 hours. Families are encouraged to bring young children. Any questions, please email me.

Hope to see you there.

Phil
